Peavey Cirrus BXP?

    Anyboy else catch this? On page 57 of this month's issue (June) of BassPlayer Mag. there's an ad for the Cirrus, but with black hardware and different bridge (the same as on the new Millennium BXP series). I checked Peavey's website, but there's nothing about it there.

    Are you sure it's a Cirrus?

    They have the Grind model which is a lot cheaper, but has a similar body shape.

    No, it's definately NOT the Grind BXP. If you have the June issue of BPM, check it out. At first glance it appeared to be a TigerEye Cirrus (distinctive "C" inlay on the twelveth fret, the "Cirrus" logo and name on the headstock, which is finished in a matching tigereye overlay), but upon closer inspection I noticed the following differences... Black hardware, different bridge (looks like individual saddles), new knobs, and... the initials "BXP" after the Cirrus name on the headstock.
