    Don't know if this is where one goes to gloat rather than to publicize available gear, but I am so, so pleased with myself. :hyper: After fifteen years or so of toying with the idea of getting a Peavey Databass, but never having the money or the timing right, lightning struck last night on the Kansas prairie.

    Got it home, and while it isn't the prettiest, and has a bit of a hum and noisy fan, it *is* gig-worthy and LOUD AS HELL. Speaker appears to be original. And after some attention (clean pots, add casters, tech check over) should do me good for a long time to come.

    Glaoting should be done in *amps* I believe; this forum is where we alert our bros to *hot deals*(not done deals :D).
    Congrats on the new rig, though. Peavey stuff rocks & is usually heavy enough to use as a lethal weapon in a barfight. :)
