I came across a great deal on a used DPC-1000. I did a search last night and didn't find much info/many comments on the amp.

What do you like/not like about it? Has it been reliable? Sound good? Have enough power? Etc...

I did see the mini rig thread this morning with a positive opinion on the amp. Anyone else have anything that they can add?

If you own one, is the brige switch recessed inside the unit so that you have to activate it with the tip of a pen (or similar)?

  2. I've got the newer DPC1400X. I sure enjoy it a lot. Light weight, powerfull, etc... At the end of the gig, it's size and weight are sure appreciated. Also, having the power to fill the room with bass without the PA is pretty sweet too. I'm not sure on the 1000 models but the bridge switch on mine is recessed as is the DDT compression switch. The only way to bridge mine is with a banana jack (red to red-A, black to red-B). Hope you enjoy it! I'm in love with mine.:bassist:
