peavey firebass or hartke 4000

    I was very close to get this one, but than I got a good deal on a used H&K BassBase400.
    I also tested the Peavey and immediately deleted it from my list. No offence to Peavey owners - that's just MY taste.

    A maybe not unimportant advantage of the Peavey though is it's ability to drive a 2Ohms load - this gives your more flexibilty in choosing cabs (in the future?)
    Regarding power rating, I've heard that the Peaveys are a bit overrated.

    BTW you really have to decide this for yourself - YOU have to be happy with your choice.

    firebass- peaveys are built much better than hartkes.
