I was very close to get this one, but than I got a good deal on a used H&K BassBase400.
I also tested the Peavey and immediately deleted it from my list. No offence to Peavey owners - that's just MY taste.
A maybe not unimportant advantage of the Peavey though is it's ability to drive a 2Ohms load - this gives your more flexibilty in choosing cabs (in the future?)
Regarding power rating, I've heard that the Peaveys are a bit overrated.
BTW you really have to decide this for yourself - YOU have to be happy with your choice.
I was wondering the same thing, and I thought... maybe reasons would be nice... Otherwise it's kind of like... well, a poll.
hartke, ha 7000 =o)
firebass- peaveys are built much better than hartkes.
Definately the FIREBASS!
FIREBASS! No doubt about it. Reliable, good sound, and good price.
