No longer offered by Peavey, what should I use?

    I setup & repair guitars & basses
1/4" drive long 5/16" socket. You will need to do some grinding to fit.

Check out a Gibson multi tool. The socket wall is unbelievably thin.

I have owned 10 Peaveys and they all were able to use the same wrench as used on a Gibson. The Allparts one above is pretty much the same thing.

Did the Gibson/allparts box wrench work on all 10 basses without any modification to the necks?

Yes. No mods, but a couple benefited from cleaning up some glue slop around the base of the truss rod nut.
