Does anybody have any specs on this amp? If you have any opinions or know anything about it I'd like to know. I found one for $275 dollars and would like to know what I'm getting for my money. Gracias.

  2. I have one.

Check peaveys site for the manual.

It has a compressor, chorus, graphic eq, shelving eq, crossover.
The chorus is not very good.

I get my tone from a sansamp. Basic amp tone is 'what you put in made louder'.

The DDT speaker protection is useful. It runs at 2ohm fine. Its pretty powerful but I wish it dished out more sometimes.

Story: I cleaning the fan (as it was covered in dust), but didn't put it back properly. The fan got stuck. Eventually there is a little bit of a smell in the air and the amp has cut out. Oh dear! I switched it off, sort out the fan, and then back on, worried of a blown circuit. No problems. Has worked fine ever since.

$275 may be a little high. I got mine for 160 off ebay (but it does have a broken knob).

You might be able to get a firebass 700 used for that much.
