Peavey Mark VIII Head Spec. Question

    Can a Peavey Mark VIII bass head handle the combined load of a 4-ohm cabinet and an 8-ohm cab?

    In short, yes. a 4 and an 8 = 2.67, and the minimum load on that head is 2 ohms, so you'd be fine.

    The lowest on my peavy mark III cabinet is 4-ohm..i wish that it went to 2-ohm...:(

    Edit: Thats right.....mine isn't the set bass model, its the generic model.


    i'm rather stupid, i thought it said mark III...
