I've been playing with this head for YEARS...and I can't tell you what the output ratings are :)

Does anybody know if this thing be able to push an 8x10 cab?

Wattage, and output lingo is completely greek to me.

    Thanks in advance!
  2. Do you have the manual? If not download it from the Peavey website, www.peavey.com
  3. It's rated 350 watts into 4 ohms and 600 watts into 2 ohms. Should run any cabinet you want to put under it, including an 8x10.

However, if the cab is only 8 ohms the amp probably will put out around 200 watts, so you'll want a 4 ohm cab to get more volume. Hopefully the 8x10 will be 4 ohms. If the cab is 8 or (god forbid) 16 ohms you won't get as much power out of the amp.

May I suggest a search through these threads to decipher what all these words really mean.
