I posted this last night in the pickups forum but it's not really a technical pickup question per se so i thought I would try it here...

I am looking for a replacement neck pickup for a Peavey Milestone 5 string bass. I do not have the bass in hand, in fact the bass is in Uganda (I have a friend that does missionary work there; the bass belongs to a gentlemen there that plays at the church). I am just trying to make sure he can find a correct replacement.

This is what the bass looks like...

It's definitely a Jazz bass style pickup. The problem is both pickups (neck and bridge) are the same length as opposed to most Jazz style basses where the neck pickup is slightly shorter than the bridge.

By chance does anybody own one of these basses? If so, could you take a measurement of both pickups?

    Thanks in advance!
