Peavey Millenium: string gauges?

I'd like to ask any Millenium 5(standard or plus) owners what string gauges that they have found work best with the instrument.

I'm trying out a Millenium 5 that my local music store just brought in. The only setup the store did was to raise the B string because it was rattling on the frets.

The bass feels alright to me, so far, but the B string sounds weak. I raised the MM pickup on the B-string side a bit, but am wondering if heavier strings would help(I assume the strings on it are the peavey ones with the .126 B-string).

    Thx,

If it has a 35" scale and thru-body stringing, your choices might be limited.
The first thing that comes to mind is the D'Addario SL (Super-Long / 36") series.

GHS makes an X-long set for the Modulus Quantum 5 (with 128 B) that might work.

I hate to be a nudge :( , but you might have better luck over in the "Strings" forum :) .

You probably need to lower the B string back to where it was and adjust the truss rod to eliminate the buzz. I really like the Cirrus strings on the Millenium.

I love this bass. It has become my new favorite.
