Time to repost and adjust the price again.

I’ve been a huge Millennium fan for the last 9 years, but now my hands say move back to 34” basses plus I like having 24 frets. This beauty has been a resident of its case for too long. It needs the love that I used to give it. Like many here, I had this listed for a while, then one of my two millys sold so I took it off the market. But it's silly to see this just sitting in its case. It's too great of a bass.

Peavey Millennium J/MM – Rootbeerburst (?) - beautiful flamed top, birdseye maple neck and matching birdseye maple headstock. 35” scale. Thin, fast neck. Absolutely stunning birdseye neck and the flame on the body is … wow. Looking at the headstock you’ll notice that the word Millennium isn’t present. This bass was a showpiece/prototype/best-they-could-do Millennium. Peavey verified this in an e-mail; great people at Peavey. Also, the one bad thing you’ll notice about the headstock is the couple of crack and slight bubble in the finish. These have not changed in the 5 years that I’ve had the bass. One of the old “not noticed at 2 feet” defects.
This bass has a great pre-amp. Not the same as other Millenniums. Clearer with some more guts than my other Millenniums; I do prefer this pre-amp. It’s obvious that Peavey did great work on the prototype. Why did they change it to the newer design? I don’t know.

This is a very special Millennium. Plays with super-low action if you desire. It hurts to sell it, but I'm now playing Carvin BB70 and BB75.
Weight: 8 – 8.5 lbs. (feels very light when on a strap and its balance is great due to the upper horn.)

    Price: [DEL]$830 $795 $765 $730[/DEL] $675 (PayPal) shipped CONUS in a Peavey case.

xhawk5 said for me to give it bump - since it keeps raining! But he is going to try and complete the down-payment deal.

If interested, give me a holler.

It's unfortunate that most of the country is burning up from drought... NOT the case here in NE Florida. We're on a flash-flood watch/warning practically every other day since July started. My income is solely based upon having dry weather.
I want this bass, but if someone gets it first, well my loss for sure. :bawl:

Man this bass is STILL here? I don't even play 4-bangers and I'm tempted to make a play for this.

    BUMP!

Stunning. The matching headstock and the neck are amongst the nicest I've seen on a Millennium.

It may be sold. If not, I think I'll keep it for a couple of years. :)
