Peavey MK III Head

    Does anybody have any info on tis head I found it i the local Pawn shop for about £100 and was thinking of getting it but don't have any idea on the spec of it.

  3. They are great amps for the money. I've probably owned 3 or 4 of them over the years. Good sound and very reliable.

    would they work into a 8 ohm load?

    Yes; they will push 8 ohms. A 4 ohm load is the same as (2) 8 ohm cabinets; it will push either a single 4 ohm cabinet, or 1 to 2 8 ohm cabinets.

    If it has the 400BH power section (it states on the back) then it will push 210 watts into 4 ohms and 300 watts into 2 ohms. Very rugged amplifier. Never let me down in 13 years of gigging.
