*SOLD* Has a few issues: *Will need fretwork soon, maybe now... but it plays well. *There is a small split at the glue joint in the fingerboard down at the butt end of the neck. It has no bearing on playability, it's small, but visible at reasonably close proximity. *There is an area on the face of the body that has taken some abuse- it's been dinged as if it has been tapped at by a small, hard, blunt object. Again, of no real consequence, but it's a blemish. The strap buttons have been moved to the back of the body. It's an 80s model, black lacquer with Maple fingerboard. The neck is two-piece, which explains the split at the butt of the 'board. The bass plays great, sounds like a Rickie when set right. The lacquer is not worn away where the blemish I mentioned is, just bumpy. It's a player, a beater, a bar bass. But it's still going, making a good noise, and could be a project for the enthusiast. I need to sell so I can go buy my old Bag Ends back! I have 2 others so I'm good to make the gig... $125 + shipping from 02917 will come with original Peavey "Contour Case". Pix coming asap.
