Peavey TKO15 - Possible to add cab??

    The attached PDF manual on that page tells you. See the section describing the external speaker jack. It says external speaker must be no lower than 8 ohms on the TKO. That plus the internal 8 ohm speaker would present a 4 ohm load to the amplifier.

  5. Hi.

    Etechstan, the only way is to figure out (measure) the impedance of the existing driver, doubling it and finding another one of the same impedance. By wiring those two in parallel will keep the load same as in the original. So if there's a 4Ohm speaker in there now, You'd need two 8Ohm speakers of the same make and model. Obviously You need to wire an output jack parallel to the speaker in the combo for the extension.

    NOT worth it IMHO.
