I recently bought a box of parts on TB and it had two sets of TL-5 pickups. One radiused, the others flat. The radiused set sold before I even posted them...

This is for the flat set. Includes pickups, preamp, knobs, pots, etc.

I might be able to answer a few questions about these, but I am no Peavey expert.

I sold the other set for $45 and these have a little more Mojo...

    How about $35 shipped USPS.

Those aren't first generation. First gen. TL5 basses had the original Super Ferrite pickups.

Can you help me out with what they are? They say "TL-5" on the bottom.

Thanks for the info. Because of my limited knowledge on this topic, I would happily offer to refund the money if someone were to purchase them and were not satisfied.

They're still good pickups and the preamp is probably quieter than the original. My first gen was a bit noisy, but still a great sounding bass.

I believe that they are VFL pickups.

What are the measurements of the pickups?

I had a TL-5 a while back and the pickups and preamp sounded fantastic. Active pickups (so they DO require battery power) and a preamp with mid frequency sweep.
If they fit into my future project, I'm DEFINITELY interested.

If not, awesome pickups, killer price on the package, and GLWTS!

They are just about 3.75, which seems slim for a 5 string, but according to another TBer these basses had pretty narrow spacing.

They did have fairly narrow spacing.
