Peavey TNT 150 question

I have an old USA peavey 150 watt TNT I dragged out for rehearsal. It has 1 15 in it, don't say it's a BW. So I always chased the Duff appetite tone and I somehow unknowingly stumbled apon it playing my jass bass special through it. Its like perfect! I love this tone and I want it for my live rig, will the peavey max preamp get the same sounds as this amp does?? If so I'm gna track one down, I might do it anyways.
