Peavey Tour 700 Series Head Quit at the gig ? Help ?

    after two songs the power to the head just quit. I check other outlets come home and still no power at all ? what happened ? it Didn't smell burnt. Could it be a Fuse ? or power transformer ?

    Did you try a different power cable? Those IEC power cords have been known to go bad.

    Checked if it has a Triac?

    The triac issue wouldn't prevent it from powering up, unless it popped the line fuse too.

    It's time to blame the 'ol power transformer again, we must be coming out of a full moon ;)

    I qualified service tech should be able to solve this issue without any problems. If they can't, they are probably not qualified.
