See post below for more pics.
Beautiful playing and gorgeous looking butterscotch blonde bass. I searched for this for over a year but have not bonded with it. It has a lot of sustain which makes it more suited for rocking out or fitting in the Rickenbacker realm whereas I was looking for the thump of a Motown sounding bass. I have found my sound elsewhere so this one can now go on to a new home.

Medium weight. I don't have a scale but it's not a light weight bass and not extremely heavy either. Somewhere in between.

I take very good care of my instruments. It is well set up and has lived in a smoke free studio while I've had it. Looks like the previous owner took good care as well.

Will consider trades. I have everything I need but sort of looking for a low end Hofner or maybe a Jazz.

That would be my guess. I'm not a wood expert but that would make sense with the weight and the sustain.

Did not sell but it's no longer for sale. I had a session come up where I needed a rockin' bass in the T-bird/Rick style (deep/clear with lots of sustain) and this fit perfectly. I don't have many of those gigs come up, but I better hang on to it for when I do.

I hope others will discover that this is really a great bass for rock.

I am very much interested if you change your mind to sell. I have one myself in black. Am looking for another.

I looked a long time for a butterscotch one. Love the look. I don't feel the need to sell it now. Only thing would be if there was a trade for a sound I don't have in my arsenal like a hollow body.
