Peavy Millennium® 4 AC BXP - Tiger Eye

    this is a nice bass and for 300.00 it sounds good. much better
    than a squire bass! just buy you a used practice amp and your good to go! :bassist:

    It is, however, an excellent beginner bass that should last you several years.

  6. I recently played a used similar model that had passive electronics and two J-style pups. I have to say I was pretty impressed, both with Peavey and a bass priced at $150. It played well and had a nice feeling neck. Had a great slap tone, plus good fingerstyle sounds. And it had a couple of features that I'd personally like to see on the passive Am. Fender J's -- hum-cancelling pickups and spoke wheel truss rod adjustment. I almost bought it for a beater/backup bass, but someone beat me to it.
