Wanted to know if anyone has used the new Peavy 410 pro cabinates. If so, how do you like them and how do they compare with others. Haven't used Peavy gear in a long time since I got rid of my Megabass Amp.

    thanks

I tried one out at the local store. Fairly impressive, I liked it much more than the TVX I A/B'ed it with.

But..... For the cost I personally would rather get an Aguilar.

Hey Rod could you tell us the major differences between the two?

Yes. The TVX sounded kinda muddy compared to the Pro. Also, the TVX sounded like "Peavey" if you know what I mean. If the Pro wouldn't have had the Peavey logo on it, I wouldn't be able to tell.

The Pro cabs are easily a step above the TVF series. They sound REALLY hi-fi so if your bass and pre are good I'd think it would sound great. However it didn't have the top end sizzle or articulate mids i like. It is very punchy though.
