I'm thinking of buying an effect pedal board, but I really have no idea as far as what's really good. I've been having eye on a Digitech pedal board.
Just wondering what you guyz/galz suggest or think.

I think you are referring to a multi-effects unit.

A pedal board is either a board that holds a number of effects units on the floor, or the actual board itself.

As for your intended question, if you do not know what effects in particular you are looking for, then you probably do not need them.

Effects are just garnishes. Every time you make dinner for yourself, do you put a little sprig of parsley and a radish rose on the side of the plate?

    I thought not.

Similarly, effects are to be used only when needed. They are an option, rather than a necessity.
