Did you have the first version? I found many notable differences in the subsequent iterations. It is not an easy pedal to grok, I’ve run hot and cold on it for years. I actually fell in love again when testing for the sale. Five years in and I’m discovering new ways to stage the gain that presented a whole new pallete of tones.

I had the last version that he made, with all the options.

That guitarist must be an Audio Professional!

I recently got a Russian Reissue. It’s pretty damn cool.

He has a lot of existential thoughts about fuzz pedals in general.

The Russian reissue is great, though I’ve been using my Josh Wah as a fuzz lately more

I get it. What concerns me is what will you do for fuzz?

I should have kept every fuzz pedal I ever owned. I should have.

If you have more than 20 fuzz pedals it’s basically an H9

How many IKEA Gorms would that require?

I think I only have 2-3 fuzz pedals.

Probably could get away with like 3-4 of the large ones.

So the Russian Big Muff reissue is awesome. Won’t make the gig board but it’s close. I’ll be out for quite a while on tour so we shall see what lands where. Removed the Sonic Stomp and decided to use the eq in my ATK’s instead. Love it. Sounds massive. image.

I was like this too... it sounded good, but not what I needed in any appreciable way.
