Sorry for the late reply. The Vintage Chorus is Mr Black’s take on the original Boss Chorus Ensemble. I’ve never had an Ibanez or Maxon chorus. I own an 80’s DOD and a Boss CS2 Bass Chorus. I think the Mr Black is different than both. It has some of the qualities of the Chorus Ensemble but not quite as lush. It is a really good chorus pedal though. Well built and works great with bass. I think there are clips on the Mr Black site.
