Pedal Mods and Creation

Discussion in 'Effects [BG]' started by Masterbasser71, Mar 16, 2006.

  1. Any good sites for how-to mod/construct pedals, supplies for modifying/construction, etc. Good sites? I'm a beginner but I got the proper tools like soldering iron, wire cutters, etc. Haha, that's what dads are for I guess, letting you borrow their tools. So anyways, links to good sites would be much appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I've been planning to build my own fuzz box at some point, too. Here's a good site that I've found useful:

Just Google around, and see what all you can find. Hope that link has something you can use... Good luck!

+1 on the diystompboxes site, they're awesome.
  4. look into Craig Anderton's book "Electronic Projects for Musicians"

lots of good info and projects. they sell complete kits, or just the pcb, for the projects at http://www.paia.com

you can do it on your own with just the book, and you do need the book to put the kits together.

also +1 for the above mentioned diystompoxes site...
