Pedal Steels and/or lap steels : show em if you got em!

    I've been looking at different stuff to add to the arsenal.

    I built a lap steel about 20 years ago out of scrap wood.

    It was a hybid with two bass courses and 5 tenor courses.

    That instrument is long gone. :crying:

    I've been scouring the net and came across mr Lamar right in Homestead and I may just throw a radical suggestion at him.

    He's old school nad makes some real pretty stuff destined for the Opry House...

    I've seen some models made out of titanium and aircraft aluminum -as well as quality woods.

    I've also seen John Paul Jones' pedal and lap steel basses (Manson custom)


    Anyone have a finished product they want to flaunt?
