I've been looking for a solid tuner that I can trust. I have been looking a the Boss footpedal tuner and the T.C. Electronics tuner. I was wondering what your thoughts are of the two pedals, which one do you prefer or recommend (doesn't have to be either of these) Also, I used to have a Korg handheld tuner that just crapped out on me that just didn't seem to hold up with my weekly gigging. I don't want to lose tone with having to plug in a footpedal tuner. So, I thought I would get some suggetions via TB.

    Thanks,

Either one, or a korg Pitchblack would all be better than a handheld.

Pitchblack or TC Polytune would both be better. The TC is True Bypass so you won't lose any tone..not sure about the Pitchblack. Personally I like the Polytune better because of the display and the speed of the tuner.

My two favorite tuners are Digitech Hardwire Tuner and my Iphone with the Cleartune App installed.

Very accurate and tracks very fast.
Smaller than a Peterson StroboStomp and seems to be very solidly built.
