    Uh?

A pedalboard is something you put pedals on. Pedals change your bass signal in (sometimes) musical ways.

My opinion? I like them, but they're not for everyone.

I also must say I don't get the point of this thread...

[edit]Wait, are you talking about single effects vs multi-effects? If so, multi-effects aren't really called "pedalboards"...[/edit]

Maybe he confused single pedals for multi-effects pedals.

    So a multi-effects unit.

If you do a search, you will find that this topic has been covered thousands of times. But here we go again:

MultiFX units are usually cheaper and easier to use. Single effects sound better, and are much more versatile, but are usually more expensive. It comes down to personal preference, really.

Personally, I prefer single effects, it's just so much more versatile.

I've heard this so many times, I've been inspired to do something with my signature.

    It's about time, I think :D

... I think I need to move further away from the BART stations, just to be safe :ninja:

Including TB authority figures in my signatures makes me look more important :smug:

    :bag:

  15. I don't think anyone's being mean to smellythe2nd.

But, fact is that if you're not searching on the Internet, you're not taking full advantage of what it has to offer!

...and for the record, multi-fx boo, pedals yay.

    1) I prefer pedals

    2) If there where no "rehashed" topics, the board would be pretty slow. I would guess it makes up 85% of the new threads. The search kind of sucks here (no slam intended just facts) and some things do change over time.

  18. Sorry, I always thought a "pedalboard" was an effects processor or multi-effects unit. At least, that's what the guitarist in my band always called his multi-effects unit. :ninja:

    Okay. Thanks.

But I live under a rock anyway, so it's all good.

  20. How do you get your computer under that rock without breaking it?
