Hey all. So I'm really looking to upgrade from my old soft case pedalboard. I'm looking to spend about 120 or so and the Pedaltrain looks like a good deal. The only thing is that, after reading up on it, it seems that lots of people hate the case (saying it's flimsy, etc). I don't tour that much anymore (an extended weekend here and there) and play out twice a month or so. Would the PT-1 case hold up for me with proper care? Or is it as bad as people say? Any opinions from experiences would be appreciated!
You may want to look into higher quality cases but for 120 you won't get much. Let me know if you need help and I may be able the point you in the right direction. Check my site too. It's in my signature.
The PT-1 is great. Mine is 4 years old and going strong. If you don't have roadies, it is perfectly adequate.
Thanks for the tip Montanamike. I'll def hit you up once my funds increase. And thanks prima, i figured if I'm the only one carrying it, the PT1 should do the job.
I had an early model PT-1 and no issues with it. I've since loaned it out to one of our guitarists at church and it's still holding up. I just got a new PT-1 from the fam on Father's Day. Gonna be unloading my PT-2 since I now have the PT-1 w/HSC. The PT-1 should do ya fine.
