Well I purchased this a used PT-2 with the hardshell case.

I'm just wondering what to expect from the older model/older case?

It'll rob you blind. It'll steal your grandma's silverware and hock it for a half pint of cheap liquor. It'll feel up your girlfriend and leave stains on your best towels. It'll borrow your bass and lend it to an old buddy who used to be in a band back in the day, but you'll get it back, don't worry.

Aside from that it's durable and reliable.

No mounting equipment for the Voodoo Labs PP2. But that's ok, it's not a great power supply. I have the old PT-Pro.

That doesn't look like a PT-2. Looks like the original Pedaltrain.

First time I've heard that :eyebrow:

Is all of the padding torn off of the inside of the case? I didn't read the full description, but that's what the picture looks like.

Sorry, it doesn't do much for me. The current draw of my pedals is just too high for the PP2+ to handle.

Well, you can't power a 500mA MIDI controller with it or anything, but almost no isolated supplies do. And it can power 24v Electro Harmonix pedals.

But not the 12VAC ones. I suppose it depends on what type of pedals you use i suppose. The average draw of my pedals is pretty high...

I had one of those old pedaltrain 2's or whatever. I still use the hard case to haul my pedaltrain Jr since I downsized.

The PedalPower AC does :D Do you run a lot of tube effects or something?

I run a 12VAC muffin, and a 300ma 12 VDC nova pedal. I'm also looking to get 3 more of those novas. Digital pedals just have higher draw, i think. The thread is officially derailed. If you want, there's a parallel discussion regarding this in the thread titled "brick".

I like the pedalboard. Of course it's a little beat up, but you get what you pay for.

  18. Interesting that it's in your GAS list...before or after this thread?
