I'm going to be letting the fates help with this decision.

I bought this bass off a seller on EBay. When I bought the bass it described as being mint in perfect shape. Everything works right etc etc.

It wasn't and it didn't. The electronics were pretty much no sound. The nut feel off when I picked the bass up. Plus the local pickup was a 2.5 hour drive in the worst weather of the year type of night.

    Etc Etc.

The seller was crazy but I hoped that I could fix it. Plus like I said I drove hours and coming home empty handed after that drive would have really ticked me off.

And as an aside the seller didn't grasp why I left negative feed back.

But I did get a nut on the bass. And actually got sound coming out of it.

But it's been sitting as a project for years. I'm trying to close things like this. This was the first nut I ever did. And so far the only. It shows.

The volume control doesn't work but audio is a reality. The board does have a spot on the finger board E string 5 "fret" where the finish is worn through.

What I am going to do is list this. If it sells it sells. If not I will continue to either store it or reevaluate the project aspect.

I'm going to list it at $1100. Love the TIs, love the bass. I just need to either clear it out or finish the job. This bass needs work.

Al Carte. If this speaks to you fine. If not move on to the next bass and talk to that. I'm not a music store so if you're looking to kick tires look elsewhere.

I'm located in Rockaway NJ. Mere minutes from RT 80. This is listed fr local pickup only

I do reserve the right to end this sale at any time.

That's a pick on the E string. It's a buzz and I believe from 1985 if that's possible. Boy this is old.

These basses are worth the repair effort, IMHO.

This is a screaming deal. If you ever decide to ship let us know. For someone that has the knowledge and time the electronics fix would be easy. Is there any issues with it structually?
