My 1997 cherry sunburst RB-5's serial is only four digits away... so the date of manufacture sounds correct. Mine has the single pickup and rosewood fingerboard. Guessing the truss rod tool is newer, as the original tool was a regular autoharp tuning wrench.
I remember well being in a Minneapolis music store (that one on Lyndale) and sitting on a stool playing a Rapture for an hour straight til closing. It was a smokin' great axe with a fast modern feel. Great build quality. Always remember that. Bet this is killer, too.
I had one exactly like this and boy do I regret letting it go! These are some of the absolutely finest basses I laid my hands on! Glwts and I wish I was sitting on the cash to spring for it! BFG
Wow, boutique bass priced better than Fender elite! Great photography, may I ask what you used to capture the faults and beauty of this amazing bass. Special lighting? GLWYS!
Hey there. Has this been sold yet. I'm in Vancouver, Canada. Would you consider shipping it to me here by USPS, and if so, what would the shipping cost be? thanks.
