What is the difference between these? I always see both options on job applications.
  2. All I know is that it is a part of the damn GSA!

Per Diem is per day... you may only work a couple hours every once in a great while. You have no regular schedule to speak of, and are mostly just called in when nobody else is available. Part Time is usually considered employment of less than 32 hours a week in the U.S., but you are scheduled, and work more than 7.

Or you can be like me, a part timer doing 57 hour weeks. ;)
