Hello. Wondering if anyone out there could help me with making a decision on a preamp. It is for a Warmoth 5 string J-bass copy with active seymour Duncan bass line pickus in it. I need to find a good onboard preamp for 4 control knobs and one battery. (I don't want to do any routing on it)

    I'm playing through an eden WT400 and 2 Eden 112xlt s.

    Thanks,
    Ethan

If I'm not mistaken, and I could be, you can't put an active eq in a bass with active pickups.

Active pickups already have a powered preamp with some tone shaping ability.

    And EMG would be nice...

  4. Duncan makes an active preamp to go with their active pickups.
