Let supporting members nominate and vote for who they want to be moderators... do it once a year or something.

    Or not...:bag:

Or, maybe we should do a Big Brother style thing...

Supporting members get to "vote off" ordinary members!! Every week, we can vote to evict one ordinary member!!

Sounds like a good plan to me, who's with me? :D

I think it should be a Theocracy - that seems to be what the people of Iraq are choosing! ;)

But I think Moley has something there - maybe it should be Moderators voting for which ordinary memebers they want to kick off the board - so each month, somebody like John Turner could nominate a member (not supporting obviously) to be removed from the board!! :)

    Which part?

  6. This may actually be the one incentive I need to finally send in my long overdue $20.

Not so much for fear / worry that as a "regular", non-supporting member I may be booted - but more for the potential to reduce the drivel / whine quotient.

If this is a go - sign me up! :D

  7. I run my own board - a lot smaller than Paul's, but I think the principle is the same. I bought the hardware and software and pay the 'lectric and DSL bill.

I don't invite people to my house and ask them to vote on whether they can put their feet on the coffee table either :)

I think Paul's formula works pretty well.

Yes - Mr. Money should stump up the cash, if he wants to run a site!! ;)

That's fine, as long as you realize that the pubescent habit of supporting one's member with one hand while typing with the other still doesn't allow one to vote.

well, considering paul's still the biggest supporting member, his vote outweighs all the others.

On a side note: I'll be running for Moderator of the "Slap StupidMatt/Mark Hoppus" Forum in the upcoming election. Vote for me!

    Oh, we're politicians now?

    WHY AREN'T WE FILTHY RICH?

Sure, we'll let you vote, but we'll have to charge you taxes. :p

After all, representation without taxation is tyranny.;)

    2.
Looking at your membership status, you devised a system in which you would have no power! (for now anyway)

You may be revolting, but you're no revolutionary.:p

How about we let Paul decide who he wants to moderate his forum, and if he doesn't like how they are doing, he removes them from power?

    Oh, wait......
