I have seen Peter many times in the past and he always puts on a fantastic show. The first time I saw him was at the Bottom Line night club in NYC with Tony Levin, Robert Fripp and Bill Bruford This was 1977, and the PG II had just been released. He stood on my table and sang "Solsbury Hill", while jumping from table to table. It was an unforgettable experience. I bumped into him a few days later near Radio City and had a chance to chat with him. He is a truly amazing person! He told me he loves to wander the streets of NY and hang with the crowds. Not your typical rock star by a mile! Oh, and that was the first time I saw anyone play a Chapman stick. Tony Levin rocked my world for sure! Robert Fripp sat on bar stool in a 3 piece pinstripe suit the whole evening. His guitar sang an amazing song, with a voice of it's own
I'm going to see him next friday in Montreal. I'm really looking forward to it. Marleysghost: the Bottom Line, eh? Cool! I've actually done a few gigs there and have always felt it was really cool because so many huge acts have played there!
