    Hi Everybody,

I want to buy a strobostomp from peterson.
Has anyone experience with the DI out of this tuner?
Is it the same quality than a radial di or so...
    Thanx a lot!
    J

    has too much gas
its not as good quality as a DI alone. but i guess the price is worth it as a Tuner and DI

Think of it as an emergency only di ;)

Really that bad? Someone said it was good in Tape-Op a few months ago. I don't know about such things myself.

Indeed! TapeOp gave it an awesome review. Hey, if recording nerds don't mind the D.I....?

Well tell you what in 2 weeks when I get my JDI Duplex I'll line up my Radial Prodi, Radial JDI Duplex and the Peterson hook them all up in a line and hook them up to a mixer and switch between the di signals and you lot can judge them.

I've done soundclips with it before and it's not terrible but it does sound a bit thin and lifeless to me but then again I'm using an older blue one so they might have updated it in the silver one.

I had the older blue Strobo, and "thin and lifeless" is exactly how I'd describe the DI sound. I haven't tried the newer one either.
