I am looking at phasers at the mo, and have narrowed my choice down to 3.

    1)EHX small stone USA
    2)BOSS PH-3/PH-2
    3)MXR phase 90

So how about some opinions? Im going to try them all out hopefully, but just incase I cant find anywhere to try them, and I have to get it mail order, I would like some views. How do they compare?

Also, does anyone know the approx footprint of the EHX pedal? I want to see if it will fit on my pedalboard!

Does the phase 90 use a standard DC adaptor (like boss pedals?) Im guessing the small stone requires one of those negative tip things, like my q-tron.

    Please comment!

p.s I play mostly fingerstyle funk with slap bits in, and jazz style fusion. See my profile for my equipment if you think it will help draw the best conclusion.

    Thanks everyone

I have the MXR. It uses a boss type adapter. The sound is gritty. You should also check out the Maxon PT999.

I also like the small stone. You can hear it here .

You may want to check out this link. It has sample of just about every phaser ever made.
