anyone noticed that bad ass 2 bridges don't fit fenders properly? If the string comes from the nut and down the neck, over the bridge saddle and into the tail piece in a dead straight line, the strings will not be between the poles on the pickups. All the new signature basses coming out of mexico are like this. Once the saddle has been cut there is no way it can be changed and a new saddle is required. In fact there needs to be an acute angle from the stop to the bridge saddle in order to get it between the poles. But really there should be no angles on the strings.

Further more, looked at a nate mendle p-bass and the action was sky high and there was no room left to lower it any further.

I own a geddy lee where the string are not quite between the poles. Nothing can be done without new bridge saddles. It's not the end the end of the world since it's not that bad and many fenders (usa and Mexican) have a similar issue. I had a look at a £1400 deluxe jazz bass where the top e string pick up poles are just miles from the string.

Those bad ass bridges are crap. give me an ordinary fender bridge anytime. At least they're adjustable.

    What do you guys think?
