I've got one of the first Phil Jones Briefcase amps, but I'm in "simplify" mode, so it's being offered up for sale.

It's a great amp--I'm simply not using it enough to justify holding on to it. If you are a jazzer, or want a crystal clear hifi practice amp, this is perfect for you.

    Will upload some pics tonight.

Here's one pic with my 6 string ABG:

I'll put more realistically sized objects next to it in future pics. :D

Tempting... just curious, how would you compare the sound to that of the Portabass 1x10 rig?

If I hadn't already dropped the duckets on a 6 pak (due to arrive today or tomorrow) I'd be on this like white on rice. Here's a bump.

Sent you a pm. Nice amp. Have you tried it using an extension cabinet too?

    The PJB has been sold.

The sound of the PJB is as hifi as hifi gets. A very flat even response. I highly recommend you check one out if possible. I didn't sell it because I didn't like it--I simply wasn't using it.

If I were independently wealthy, I'd still own it. :bassist:
