I believe I read that somewhere, or is it just nuetrik?
What kind of amp did you use to drive this

Absolutely love my two, these are killer cabinets!

 

I find it incredible that these PJB cabs are small, but deliver such sound... Like a small sledgehammer...
I just put my cab 47 on the floor, with my old amp/head road case about 8-10 in. behind it ( I previously had it up off the floor on that road case, w/ nothing behind it-- Wall as 4- 5 ft away...
Wow, talk about blooming flowers....
The road case being pretty solid, really does reflect a lot of nuanced sound... Like flowers blooming with color...
Phil Jones spoke about the cabs designed to be on the floor, w/ a wall behind to utilize the ports in the back of the cab to reflect, for a total sound...
Your C4's are ported in front, (so, I would not think they are ported in the back also) so I imagine that a lot of your sound is colored by these ports on the sides of your cabs... They must really enhance those 4x4 speakers... Sweet sounds, indeed!!
That Aguilar cab/head is no slouch either... But, for bigger gigs?
Its great that we bassists finally have access to a selection of quality amplification!
