Me likey. They were like the Dead with chops. Too bad they broke up.

Gordon uses a Modulus and some other random stuff. Plectrum-to-finger ratio about 1:1 by playing time.

I love Phish. I'm not sure about exact equipment set-ups. I do know however that for the longest time he used basses custom made for him by the band's guitar tech. He also made Trey's. Chech out the Bass Player magazine website. They ran a cover story on him at one time and Im sure they went into minute detail about his rig. Now I believe that he uses Modulus basses.

Yes, Mr. Gordon does play a Modulus bass, and when he played with Phil Lesh on a Phil and Friends gig, he liked phil's set up so much, he asked Phil about it and then went out and got the same or similar set up. Basically a SWR SM 900 rig if I'm not mistaken.

Yeah to some people it he would be like a sleeping pill! He doesnt go a million miles a hour on one note! Or have strange clothing. Or jump around all over the place and mosh! But trust me what he is doing is ten times harder to pull off then those bands!
