Phoenix Phantom headless Pbass query

Discussion in 'Basses [BG]' started by Fender Bendered, Dec 29, 2018.

  1. Howdy all and first post...
I picked this pbass up this summer and was wondering with all the collective wisdom here if ya'll can tell me anything about it, history, fun facts, whatever. I hear its Japanese and was only marketed in Canada. It as a pull pot doing some splitting and a Dimarzio.
Sounds pretty amazing and thumpy, super fun to play. I though at first I'd grind that logo off but now am kinda fond of it in a "company polo shirt" way.
I must say though I am still having phantom limb issues w/o that headstock but as long as I am paying attention, I don't drop down the neck to much on accident. Mostly.
Anything you have will be excellent.

Never seen or heard of them sorry

There is both Headless and Steinberger clubs here so hopefully someone has an idea.

Is there anything written/etched/stamped on the bridge?

  3. Nothing on the bridge, no serial either. It's a real-life mystery.
Didn't realize there was a headless forum - will peruse over there as well.
    Thanks!
