    heylo there,

been off work today - got a cold - stuck in bed - very bored

found an old bassplayer mag - april 2001 issue n saw something id forgotten all about -

the phooledhugh disposable bass!! ive just bought the mike dirnt p and im loving it but it sure is heavy!!

thought this would be a super light weight and kinda fun alternative when im feeling lazy - also i guess i could eat it maybe too!!

only trouble is the web address given doesnt work and ive spent the last hour footering around in google trying to get some info on where i can get one!!

any of you guys have one, had one, or have any info at all?

    cheers chooks

    No, you can't be serious.

You didn't actually believe that, right?

If I remember well, the neck was made from laminated bamboo and the pickups were active "Tortellinis". :D
  5. I remember in an even older April edition they had a combo with the amp face front but the speaker was backwards, for increased output in corner loading. I instantly thought that was stupid but believed it was true.

. . . well, at least he said he was in bed sick all day . . . let's chalk the impaired judgment and gullibility up to his fever . . . :eyebrow:

I actually believed that one, too... Although I thought it really looked like an amp facing the wall...

Don't sweat it Red-hot, we all have our "off" moments. :D
