Voted pearl, but I'd probablt choose a black or dark grey guard if it were my bass.

Not really a a dark gray or black pickguard kinda guy. Originally I was going to go with that whole Silver Surfer look. All metal, but when I saw the pearl, it looked real good to, so now I'm torn...

  7. Go with the pearl. The mirror looks cool but you gotta clean it way too much. nothig looks worse than a bass thats supposed to be shiny but has finger prints and grime on it.

+1 you don't want your bass to look like a used up high price whore... then again maybe you do

I went with Pearl, Markus. It looks classy. The mirror's kind of cool, but the brushed aluminum doesn't do it for me--unless you plan on playing in a band with a shiny industrial look.:D

Pearl. Unless you plan to play Euro-Techno for the life of that pickguard!

Plus, unless they can get the mirror exactly right, it'll probably clash with the control plate, and the brushed aluminum would make it stick out like a sore thumb (bass).

The mirror matches perfectly. I am leaning towards the pearl though. Though I do a lot of Photoshop work, these are real deal photos.

After seeing the brushed aluminum, I'd want a chrome plated guard.
