I was trying to create an animated GIF image using Photoshop 7.0 and ImageReady 7.0. Everything is fine until I save the final GIF and then the color (Trace Elliot green) becomes almost a mustard yellow.

Can anyone give me a clue how to fix this? :help:

  2. Did you try using the palette of web-safe colors?
There is a chance the Green you are after will not display correctly.

The logo by my user name here at TB is the very thing I was working with. It is a .jpg that I converted to a .gif and afterwhich it still looked fine.

Eh, I'm no good at this Photoshop type stuff. :(

Yeah, you may have inadvertently enabled or disabled a pallete that was not the same when you did it before. Also, the more you limit the number of colors when you save the optimized version (to shrink the file size), you may get this problem.
