...to play at the Christmas party for my office. And not "Last Christmas" cause we did that one last year. A couple hundred people, median age maybe 26 or 27, most management types that it's a good idea to make a positive impression on are in their mid-30s.

    There can be only one.

Play Guaraldi's version of Greensleeves from Charlie Brown Christmas. Instantly recognizable and classic without being corny.

May I suggest a bunch and you pick from the list?

Top of the list would be Springteens exact version of "Santa Clause is Comin to Town" with the banter "you boys been practicin real hard this year" and whatnot.

    Other good ones would be....

Oi to the World - No Doubt or The Vandals
    Wonderful Christmastime - Paul McCartney
Blue Christmas - Bright Eyes Version
Carol of The Bells - Trans Siberian Orchestra
Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer - ?
Wish I Had a River - Joni Mitchell

Pretty much any arrangement of the classics by either Michael Buble or the cast of Glee would be a safe and acceptable crowd pleaser. That Springsteen tune would bring the house down though ;)

Actually, that's pretty much my line of thinking. I told the girl who's organizing this to check out Glee episodes from last December to see what songs they did.

  13. Agree on the Springsteen tune. I'm currently putting a medley together for a Christmas show.

You may have trouble pulling it off without Lisa Fischer, but it's worth a try...

  16. With the right arrangement Sleigh Ride can be a really fun challenge.

The Temptations' arrangement of "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" is as fun as a Christmas tune can be.
