Pick up on MTD Kingston

    I am thinking of getting an MTD Kingston but a question on the pups. They say they are single MM style but they look like they are 2 pickups side by side. Would these be replaceable. I havent heard one of theses basses but the reviews are very high. I just kind of question the pickups quality because I belive the Pups are korean made.

    the pickup is a Mike Tobias design- Korean- but it sounds great. no need to change it- you can make the bass active with a nice pre,, if you REALLY think it needs it- but i dont think its necessary- peace, A. - PS- see my email
