Picked up a Jazz... Pics

    I picked this bass up used. I've been after a jazz for a while and I think this'll fit the bill!
    Sadowsky NYC Vintage 4 Quilted maple top, Ash body, Ebony board( :D )
    .....first impressions are that Its a very nice bass, looks good, neck is fast and slim and it plays great.

    I'll post more thought after running it thru my rig and on a gig.

    If you're from Oz I imagine that cost you a hellluva a price seeing as Fenders are like 3k there and Sadowsky's are like 3K here :p

    I concur, could you pm me with details as i am thinking about buying a sad too and jsut interested in the $AU price.

    Nice score btw, man every sad i see jsut increases my gas, the only cure seems to be looking at dingwall super j's. haha my new amp is getting here TOMORROW and all i can think about is a new bass :help:

    You're not mistaken!
    ....not seen any Sadowsky basses forsale in Aus used.

    Any of you Sadowsky players recommend strings for this bass?

    And you had us all thinking that fender made the very best basses. Maybe there is something to these Sadowsky basses after all!!

    Not bought from these shores.....I think they have the Metros at Bassplayer or Bass Centre, not sure, and I think they are pretty pricey.

    i like Fenders,right,they have good basses for the price but i love a tons of other basses too.
