picked up a new (to me) cab today..

    Never seen this before but hughes & kettner made a 212 + tweeter for bass. The guy at the music store owned it and even replaced the speakers it with some nice celestion bass speakers. I played some crappy p-bass knockoff through an ancient carvin head and it still sounded great. Can't wait to try it with my GK 1001Rb 210 combo.

    Haven't tried it yet with my combo,but I'm pretty pumped about it. I did a search and did'nt find anything on H&K 212's. Anyone else ever played one?

    Got a chance to play the cab yesterday and IT ROCKED!! This cab has great low end and comliments my GK well. The cab has a round, full tone and it's pretty darn loud too,so I guess I'm a member of the 210/212 club now. I'll post pics soon.

    H&K makes some great amps.

    bassbase 600 head is a tone monster. tubeman plus is the best overdrive unit even for bass.

    hi! I can't see the pic! i'd like to see it,because this morning i bought a H&K 212 cab at a great price(150 euro) used. nobody know nothing about this cabinet,but,in the five minutes i tried it alone,it seemed to ROCK!with a clean and clear sound,that I foresee which will not loose in the mix,like all german bass gear! =D
    next sunday i will try it with my alt. rock band!i can't wait!
