im bidding on this american deluxe fender jazz bass off of ebay

but i wanna get a new perloid pickgaurd for it...most likely black..
    the problem is...
the bass im bidding on has 9 holes for the pickgaurd...while all other replacement ones have 10...

i was going to just buy the 10 hole one and get my guitar store to drill an extra whole in..but some of the holes dont line up...

The DLX Jazz has a smaller body, thus the pg is smaller. the standard pg for jazzbass will not fit.

  5. You can send <a href=http://www.pickguards.com/PickguardOrderingInstructions2.htm>WD Music Products</a> a tracing of yours and they'll make one for you.

  6. If you're looking for a MIA deluxe one you should also look for listings under "22-fret Jazz". Some sites list them that way. Basically if it has 22 frets, the body is downsized or else it would be harder to play the highest few frets (21-22). So check titles for either 22-fret Jazz or American Deluxe Jazz.
